T HOUGH many of us have yet to jet off for our summer hols, some of Wales’ top sporting stars have been making the most of the break, with trips back home and luxury holidays.
Some have been showing off snaps of their summer adventures on social media.
We’ve taken a look through their photos to see what they’ve been up to. THE Welsh footballer has been home to Cardiff and has been visiting his bar Elevens to meet fans.
He’s also been enjoying some family time with fiancée Emma Rhys-Jones and daughters Alba and Nava, which have included a trip to Mountain Ranch in Caerphilly.
He also took part in a spot of golf at the Celebrity Cup at The Celtic Manor Resort alongside Sir Gareth Edwards, Rob Bryson, Craig Bellamy and TV start Gethin Jones. THE Arsenal footballer has also been enjoying the Cardiff sunshine, posting an adorable picture on Instagram of him walking with his son and dog in Roath Park.
The Welsh soccer star, who has just celebrated his third wedding anniversary to Colleen in the football break, has also bought a new £5m home in Lisvane, so don’t be surprised if you bump into him at B&Q either! SPURS left-back Ben took in the beautiful Gower beaches before heading back to London for pre-season training.
While he was home the 24-year-old Welsh footballer also went to watch a match at his local cricket club – Ynysygerwn – where he put his feet up. THE Cardiff-born footballer has been getting to know his newborn son Hendrix while on holiday in a beautiful villa in Italy with his wife Ruby and daughters Layla and Reeva
And the 30-year-old, well known for his hairy beard, has also undergone a hair transplant with hair restoration firm KSL Hair, which tweeted pictures of Ledley as the player smiled and laughed during treatment. THE West Ham United and Wales pro has had what he describes as “the best summer”, with a holiday with his wife Samantha and their three children. HE toured with the Lions but that clearly didn’t stop the Welsh rugby star getting an adrenalin buzz as he did a bungee jump just before the third Test! THE Cardiff Blues and Welsh rugby player has been holidaying in Italy with his fiancée Milica Bubanja.
They’ve lunched in Capri and enjoyed Sorrento.
We’re not jealous at all. STRAIGHT from his success as part of the British Lions squad, Liam and his model girlfriend Sophie Harries have been sunning themselves in the luxury surroundings of the Atlantis Pal hotel in Dubai. THE Reading defender watched Ed Sheeran rock Glastonbury – alongside team-mate Aaron Ramsey. DAYS after leading Wales on their successful summer tour Down Under, ending with the 19-17 victory over Samoa , Roberts jetted 2,700 miles from Apia to Sydney, Australia.
The good doctor was helping sick animals, tweeting a picture of himself on the Northern Beaches, in New South Wales, working on a dog who had ruptured his ACL, in a veterinary surgeon’s operating theatre.
But it’s not all hard work. He’s also relaxed in Ibiza with some mates. GERAINT may have crashed out of the Tour De France with a broken collarbone but that didn’t stop him enjoying a bit of free time before surgery.
