CARDIFF City brushed aside a fresh bout of speculation surrounding star man Kenneth Zohore to roar to victory at Wolves and make it four out of four at the top of the Championship.

Neil Warnock and his side went into the huge Molineux clash on the back of reports Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan had agreed a £10m deal to sell Zohore to Premier League newcomers Brighton.

The Cardiff hierarchy angrily dismissed the claims as ‘complete nonsense’... and then saw Zohore terrorise the Wolves defence as goals from Joe Ralls and Nathaniel Mendez- Laing secured yet another Bluebirds triumph. Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman stressed: “We have NOT received a £10m offer from Brighton and we have NOT accepted anything. This is complete rubbish.”

Chief excutive Ken Choo also said: “It’s complete nonsense. We have not accepted any offer, nor agreed to sell Kenneth.

“He would only go if we were offered silly money.”

The Bluebirds are believed to value Zohore at £20m-plus and boss Warnock said he will only go ‘to a top 10 Premier League club.” Brighton are believed to be in for him, but not at the figure reported.

It was Zohore’s forward colleague Mendez-Laing who grabbed the headlines after the Wolves game, his winner making it five goals in five games for his new club.

Warnock beamed: “I would imagine he hadn’t even have dreamed of this. He’s almost like a youngster with a new ball, in that he just gets it and runs and he’s great to watch.

“He has got a good future if he keeps his himself grounded. But while I’m in charge of him he will be grounded, don’t worry.”

The Bluebirds meet Burton in the League Cup this week before taking on QPR at Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday, seeking to make ot five wins from five in the league.
