THESE are some of the criminals who have been sent to prison in the past month. They include a murderer who kicked a man to death, a former primary school head teacher who abused more than 40 women, and a man who said “Let’s kill every Muslim” in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena bombing. RICHARD WALLIS The murderer was jailed for life at the end of the month for kicking a “kind and honest” man to death as he lay defenceles­s on a street at night.

Richard Wallis, 43, had denied murdering Jan Jedrzejews­ki but was found guilty by a unanimous jury verdict following a two-month trial at Newport Crown Court. DALE ALSTON The 23-year-old had been arrested in Cardiff after he went running through the city centre shouting, swearing and slashing the air with a large kitchen knife.

He was arrested by a plain-clothes officer who chased him along Queen Street. DANE MOLLOY Molloy went on a week-long drink and drugs binge before stabbing two men in a house, one in the abdomen and one in the leg. He has now been jailed for 12 years. MARTIN HORTON The traffic warden was jailed after threatenin­g to cut a woman’s fingers off with secateurs unless her brother paid an £8,000 debt.

The 43-year-old was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court after pleading guilty to blackmail, possession of a blade, and possession of an offensive weapon. DAVID HART A “controllin­g bully” who repeatedly raped a single victim over a 14-year period, including forcing her to have sex with a dog, has been given an extended 25-year sentence.

Judge Geraint Walters said the conduct of David Hart “passes the boundaries of human understand­ing” and described the 60-year-old as a “devious sexual predator” while handing down the sentence at Swansea Crown Court.

He said his victim had suffered “horrific sexual abuse at your hands, which you carried out with impunity” and added: “It is no exaggerati­on to say you have ruined that girl’s life. You have abused her like some captive animal.” RICHARD HAWKEY The robber was high on crack cocaine when he took a sandwich shop till after the owner refused to lend him £2.

He had been smoking crack cocaine “non-stop” for two days before the incident at Baguettes and Bagels in Cardiff and could not remember what happened. MATTHEW YOUNG The prolific thief who broke into a home in Cardiff before making off with a wallet, keys and a bottle of rum was jailed.

Prosecutor­s said the 34-year-old had been before the courts for more than 60 previous offences, including 21 thefts. FRANCISCO MONTECINOS, JULIO GALDAMEZ-RODRIGUEZ AND LUIS ROJAS The three members of a criminal gang were jailed for stealing highvalue items totalling tens of thousands in burglaries across South Wales and England.

Julio Galdamez-Rodriguez, Luis Rojas and Francisco Montecinos – originally from Chile – each admitted their part in the string of house burglaries and were sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court. WILLIAM MORTON The golf club worker chased his girlfriend with a knife and attacked her while she was pregnant. RHODRI ALLEN The pensioner called police and said “I think I’ve just murdered my expartner” after stabbing the 76-yearold woman in her neck following an hour-long argument.

Cardiff Crown Court heard Rhodri Allen stabbed his former partner Andrea Stephens three times after the late-night row at her house, embedding the blade 4cm into her lower neck. DAVID WALKER A man jailed after admitting possessing cocaine with intent to supply has been jailed.

The 28-year-old dealer from Pant Glas in Pencoed was sentenced to five and a half years at Cardiff Crown Court. GORDON FLEMING The former primary school head teacher was jailed for 10 years at Swansea Crown Court for abusing 44 girls between the 1970s and 1990s.

A woman who was sexually abused by him spoke of her relief after he was finally jailed.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said she was now determined to move on with her life. CALLUM PALMER The drug user who fought police officers with a kitchen knife after suffering a cardiac arrest claimed he was using it to “butter crackers”.

The 27-year-old, from Barry, became involved in a fight with the police who attended his brother’s home in Hillary Rise on July 18 after he suffered a drug-induced cardiac arrest. CRAIG JENKINS The prolific burglar was caught after he broke his foot jumping out of the window with his bag of loot.

The 38-year-old – who has three dozen break-ins on his record – injured himself while escaping from a house after being disturbed by the occupants. GASH MUSA The drug dealer was caught redhanded by police as he peddled heroin and cocaine in Cardiff to pay for his own drug debt.

REEDE BROWN The 58-year-old was jailed after lavishing gifts on an underage girl before having sex with her.

Brown chatted with the girl through Facebook and once gave her alcohol.

KATIE BISGROVE The 25-year-old was drunk when she hurled racist abuse at a staff member in a takeaway and left a customer needing stitches after attacking her with a bottle.

Bisgrove already had previous conviction­s for violence and racially aggravated offending and was jailed for 20 months.

IEUAN JOHNSON The jealous boyfriend was jailed for threatenin­g to stab a man after his girlfriend said she would have sex with someone else.

The 20-year-old was caught on CCTV throwing a kitchen knife with a red handle into the bushes after the police were called to the Solas supported living unit in George Street, Newport.

CALLUM WOOTON Wooton blackmaile­d his date by telling him he would reveal secrets about his sexuality to his family if he did not pay him £700.

Cardiff Crown Court heard he told his victim “time is ticking” and sent him emojis of clocks in an attempt to pressure him into handing over the cash.

BETHAN MOORE AND JASPER KNOX A pensioner was offered sex and then beaten and robbed in a honey trap attack just yards from Swansea train station.

The couple targeted the 72-yearold man as he went to buy a paper from the nearby CK’s shop.

KEEGAN JAKOVLEVS He was jailed for a year after posting on Facebook “Let’s kill every Muslim” in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena bombing.

Keegan Jakovlevs, 22, from Wrexham, was sentenced to 12 months behind bars at Mold Crown Court after admitting publishing material with the intention of stirring up religious hatred.

STUART DAVIES The drug addict was jailed for selling heroin to young people in broad daylight in Cardiff city centre. Davies, who told police he had been addicted to the Class A drug since he was 17, admitted possessing heroin with intent to supply.

DANIEL HARRIS The fraudster was locked up just weeks after his identical brother was sentenced in the same court for a similar crime.

Ashley Harris was already doing time for fraudulent­ly obtaining £200,000 worth of luxury vehicles by lying on credit applicatio­ns.

Now sibling Daniel, of Swansea, is also behind bars after police found the number plates on his BMW had been swapped.
