HAVERFORDW­EST County narrowed the gap on Welsh League leaders Llanelli Town to just two points with a 2-1 victory over Cwmamman United at New Bridge Meadow yesterday.

County found the target through Declan Carroll and Kristian Speake with Colin Harris replying for the visitors.

Llanelli came from behind to beat Ton Pentre 3-1 at Ynys Park thanks to goals from Lee Trundle, Joe Clarke and Jordan Follows after Charlie Loss had given Ton the first half lead.

Trundle actually missed a penalty before the break but later made amends.

Meanwhile, a brace of goals from Thomas Walters helped Goytre United to a 2-2 draw with visitors Undy Athletic who scored through Gareth Cullimore and James Barnes.

A hat-trick from Liam Reed led Cambrian & Clydach to a 4-0 home win over Taffs Well, Richard French also on target.

Afan Lido were 3-1 winners over visitors Monmouth Town with Elliott Thomas, Sacha Walters and Mark Jones on target with Lewis Clare replying for Monmouth.

In division two, Aberdare Town and West End fought out a 4-4 stalemate with Elliott Thomas (2), Kineil Kingston and John Phillips on target for Aberdare and Brigh Matthews scoring all four for the visitors.

Croesyceil­iog won 2-1 at AFC Porth with Dan Clooth and Will Morris on target while Connor Ray scored for Porth.

In division three, leaders Trefelin beat Ynysygerwn 2-1 with Dylan Thomas and Jordan Edwards on target after Tom Phillips had put the visitors in front.
