How they rated
LUKASZ FABIANSKI
One of the quietest afternoons of the season for the Poland international. Will be frustrated to be denied a clean sheet but made one sharp stop from Arnautovic and his usual authoritative self in the air.
KYLE NAUGHTON
Started purposefully with forward thrusts down the right in the build-up to the opener and won some important tackles to keep Swansea on the front foot, faded towards the end but the job was done by then.
MIKE VAN DER HOORN
The Dutchman grabbed just his second goal for the club to cap another excellent performance. Read the West Ham threat well. Strong in the air, calm on the ball and unhurried and unflustered as he made countless interceptions.
FEDERICO FERNANDEZ
A fine performance as he bounced back from a difficult afternoon at Brighton. Brought the ball out well, and was strong at the heart of the defence, although will be disappointed to have allowed Antonio the space for West Ham’s goal.
ALFIE MAWSON
Exuded authority. West Ham looked to play direct to their front three but got absolutely no change out of the Swansea centre-back. Took a couple of blows to the head, but did not deter him one bit.
MARTIN OLSSON
Offered himself down the left and West Ham made very little headway down his flank. Might not attract the headlines but a rock solid display from the Sweden international.
ANDY KING
A full Swansea debut to remember. The Wales international added a physical sturdiness in the middle of the park, kept play ticking offer nicely and pressed tirelessly. Got his reward with close-range finish.
SAM CLUCAS
Not as prominent as the two alongside him, but never stopped running and it was his effort to get forward that allowed Andre Ayew to nip in and win the penalty for the fourth. Does so much nuts and bolts work.
ANDRE AYEW
Played like a man possessed on his second full debut for the Swans. Clearly had a point to prove against his former club and was a constant pest and nuisance. Linked well with his brother and all this excellent display was missing was a goal he would have richly deserved.
JORDAN AYEW
Like his brother an absolute nuisance and a regular outlet for his side. Took his penalty calmly and this fine run of form he is on just continues.
