Friendly team at Evans Halshaw dedicated to Motability customers
EVANS Halshaw is an award-winning advocate of the Motability scheme, which works towards supporting disabled people and their families. All Evans Halshaw Motability-accredited dealerships have dedicated and fully-certified Motability teams which specialise in advising customers on the perfect vehicle.
The friendly team members are committed to getting customers behind the wheel of their ideal car, at a competitive price so they can enjoy worry-free, affordable motoring.
Motability customers in Cardiff can be sure of receiving award-winning customer service when they visit their local retailer, Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Cardiff.
A sales team member at the Vauxhall dealership, situated on Sloper Road has received a coveted regional award for his exceptional work with the Motability car scheme. The accolade is part of a programme of awards which recognises and awards outstanding customer service provided by local Motability dealerships.
The Dealer Awards Programme was launched in 2017 by Motability Operations and existing across the Motability Scheme’s national dealer network, was designed and established to ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all Motability customers, as well as to recognise and reward best practise within the industry.
Peter Wilson, general manager – dealer relations at Motability Operations, explains: “The focus of these awards is to thank our dealer partners for providing a consistently positive customer service experience, after all, they are often the first point of contact for our customers.
“It’s important for us to recognise our dealer partners who go above and beyond when representing the Motability scheme and highlight those who are setting a great example of how to do it well, like Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Cardiff. Many congratulations to the team on its award.”
Adding to this great news, Motability customers will also have access to additional brands at the Evans Halshaw retailer situated on Sloper Road, Cardiff.
This move follows the news that Vauxhall joined PSA Group, a French multinational automotive manufacturer, which also owns Peugeot, Citroen and DS.
In 2016, PSA initialised a strategy to expand the company through geographical expansion and acquisition of additional car companies, and Vauxhall seemed like a promising speculation – it is after all one of the oldest established vehicle manufacturers and distribution companies in the UK and has also existed as one of the largest-selling car brands in the UK for more than 20 years.
Evans Halshaw’s Cardiffbased Vauxhall dealership is currently undergoing work in order to accommodate a dealership merge involving Citroen and DS. So, customers will receive the same great service with added choice and variety, thanks to the addition of two extra brands under one roof.
The Evans Halshaw multi-brand dealership will provide customers with exceptional customer service and unrivalled knowledge about products and services offered, financial solutions, Motability scheme and much more.
What’s more, the relocation will see the DS dealership existing as the first-ever, individually-branded DS dealership in the Evans Halshaw group.
Despite the building works that are being carried out to accommodate the modifications, Vauxhall Cardiff will be open as usual, with no compromise to any of the services being offered. Who is entitled to Motability allowance? The Motability scheme offers affordable, convenient and worry-free motoring to more than 630,000 disabled customers and their families through the lease of cars, scooters and powered wheelchairs to customers.
The scheme is available to anyone who receives the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement. Customers who want to take advantage of the scheme transfer their mobility allowance to Motability to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair.
When a vehicle is purchased through the Motability scheme, the cost of the lease also includes many benefits such as insurance for two named drivers, servicing and maintenance, full RAC breakdown assistance, tyre and windscreen replacement and 60,000 mileage allowance over three years.
Similarly, when a scooter or powered-wheelchair is leased, insurance, breakdown assistance, servicing, maintenance and repairs and tyre and battery replacement are all included in the cost of the lease.
