JEZZA: UNMASK THESE TROLLS!

C ONTROVERSIAL columnist Jeremy Clarkson has called for the “faceless trolls” who allegedly goaded a Cardiff dad to take his own life to be unmasked.

Builder Leon Jenkins, 43, was found dead by police at a house in Roath after it was reported that cruel trolls traded insults with him in a Paltalk chatroom.

Paltalk is an Americanowned site which has 200 million users worldwide. It allows users to hold group video chats and browse thousands of live video streams.

A coroner heard the alarm was raised by the website administrator – and police went to his home to investigate.

An inquest into his death heard he was discovered in the living room of his home on July 25.

Friends say he received a message on the night of the tragedy saying: “Why don’t you just do it? Your life isn’t worth it.”

The inquest in Pontypridd was adjourned for a full hearing to allow a full investigation into the tragedy.

Writing in his column in The Sun newspaper, Clarkson said that details of the so- called trolls should be made public.

He said: “If I was one of his friends I would want to know the names and addresses of those who’d goaded him into doing such a thing. But that’s the problem. If they were breaking the law, and it’s not certain they were – because being a b*****d is not illegal – the police can find out.

“The security services can find out. But you and me? We cannot.”

Clarkson went on to say that bullies being allowed to remain anonymous was a bigger problem on the internet than porn, drugs, or digital piracy.

Adding: “There is nothing to stop me setting up a fake email address then using it and a silly name to hurl abuse at anyone who comes into my warped crosshairs.”
