KRISTOFFER NORDFELDT

Had a very comfortable afternoon and made one fine save to keep out Manning’s free-kick, but his hesitation ultimately led to the first penalty and it proved a pivotal moment. The sort of misjudgment you cannot afford to make.

KYLE NAUGHTON

Very solid performance. He and Roberts are becoming an increasingly effective combination down the Swansea right. Showed intelligent movement to create space out wide for Roberts.

MATT GRIMES

Justified the decision to start him ahead of Martin Olsson with a terrific display. Has the pace to do the defensive side of the game, but also the quality to give James and others ahead of him time and space. .

MIKE VAN DER HOORN

Booked late on during madness of the frenetic ending, which led to the second penalty, but had dealt with everything that came his way pretty comfortably.

JOE RODON

Another excellent performance at the end of a week where he signed his new contract. One lovely early turn out of trouble and another driving run showcased his comfort on the ball, but handled the direct stuff well too.

JAY FULTON

Quietly effective for the most part, got stuck in to the midfield battle and his diligent work helped sparked several bright attacks.

LEROY FER

Had a bit of a hit-and-miss first half but was far more prominent after the break and was a dominant figure in the middle. At first glance the decision to penalise him for the second penalty looked harsh.

CONNOR ROBERTS

His usual effective and energetic presence. Snuck in down the right on numerous occasions and very close to beating the offside trap twice in the second half.

DANIEL JAMES

Another week and another assist for the diminutive winger. Rotherham tried to rough him up but he kept coming back for more and his pace was always a threat. Quieter after the break, but surely has to make the Wales squad on this form.

OLI MCBURNIE

Took his goal well and got through his usual mountain of work linking play up, and unselfish movement created room for others.
