Celebs can’t wriggle out of TV trial

-

IT’S what we’d all been waiting for.

Two contestants on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here took on one the most disgusting challenges of the series so far – and it involved eating some rather wriggly snacks.

Having enjoyed a rather easy start during his imperial stint, Noel Edmonds along with his former jungle empire adviser Harry Redknapp, had the tables turned on them during the latest Bush Tucker Trial.

The trial, called Nero to Zero, saw the two camp mates eating a variety of bugs and worms to earn meals for the rest of the celebrities.

Harry has become a surprise favourite among viewers, while Noel has already started to test camp mates after his stint as the emperor.

Despite living in relative luxury for the last few nights, Harry hasn’t been impressed with the exotic food – viewers have already seen that he’s more of a jam roly poly man than a kangaroo connoisseur.

So the football manager wasn’t too pleased at the thought of eating bugs.

The worst part of the trial, however, was when the celebs had to squeeze the juice out of fish eyes using only their teeth. The juice was then funnelled into a cup – both Noel and Harry had to drink the liquid contents.

The pair are also served sheep’s brain with the animal’s skull in sight.

Harry felt he had to complete the task, as he’s being watched by family back home.

“I’ve got to do it,” Harry said on last night’s episode. “I’ve got the grandkids at home watching, can’t let them down.”
