How they rated

- BY ABDREW GWILYM

ERWIN MULDER

Was often left exposed by those in front of him and made some sharp stops. However, some of his work with the ball at his feet was aimless, and was involved in the mess for the second goal.

KYLE NAUGHTON

Back from injury and had his hands full during the opening half and was switched into midfield. Fared little better there as he lacked assertiveness on the ball and got pulled out of position.

MIKE VAN DER HOORN

Has been excellent this season, but was all over the place at times here. Caught wandering upfield ahead of the remainder of the back four on several occasions, playing a part in his own goal and the third before being turned easily for the fourth.

JOE RODON

Like so many others, not at the level we have become accustomed to. A little loose in possession at times although the defence were not helped by a lack of cover and he rescued some last-gasp situations.

MATT GRIMES

His pass was picked off for the first goal, but looked far better in midfield after the break and gave Swansea some tempo and momentum in their passing play.

JAY FULTON

Very quiet, struggled to contend with Norwich’s incisive swift passing and unable to make anything of note with the ball. A drop off after a run of strong performances.

LEROY FER (CAPT)

The captain has looked to be a man trying to find his form after injury woes and he had a tough outing here. Gave the ball away cheaply after often caught the wrong side of the ball defensively.

CONNOR ROBERTS

Not the way he would have wanted to mark the signing of his new contract. Kept quiet during the opening half but helped drive Swansea forward after the break.

BERSANT CELINA

Committed the cardinal sin of giving away the ball on the edge of his own area for the second and was guilty of being too casual on a number of occasions. A really disappointing display from a player of such quality.

OLI MCBURNIE

His efforts to help link play often leave him playing catch-up to get into the area for the final ball. Actually had more joy here when he was switched to the left flank.

SUBSTITUTES

Martin Olsson (On for Fer, 46) 5 - Started the second half with purpose but ran out of steam once Norwich put the game to bed. Wilfried Bony (On for Fulton, 46) 5 - His first Liberty appearance since January, there were some half-decent touches and a missed headed chance, but looks what he is, a man finding his feet after a long lay-off. Rusty doesn’t begin to cover it. Barrie McKay (On for Celina, 68) 5 - The game was long gone by the time he came on. Not used: Nordfeldt, Asoro, Carter-Vickers, John.
