- VICTORIA JONES Reporter victoria.jones@walesonline.co.uk

YOU can buy, and sell, pretty much anything on eBay these days But there is a dark side that you would never know about. People sell “haunted” items on eBay, and there are far more listings that you’d realise.

They range from dolls, to jewellery to teddy bears.

One listing is for a doll named Lilly “who likes to play with your hair”.

Another listing is for a teddy bear and a ouija board test is said to have come up with, “Find me”, “Help”, “I’m sorry” and “where am I?”.

Here are some things on eBay right now that claim to be haunted. Haunted doll Harper and dress The eBay listing says: “Harper was a very beautiful woman. She was involved in the occult and got in a little too deeply, she suffered from depression.

“She wasn’t known to us directly however, through friends of friends we knew of her. She very sadly ended her own life in a ceremony where she gave herself to the dark one.

“She wore this dress in a bid to become his bride and left this realm. The ceremony left Harper trapped within the walls of the building that the ceremony was held.

“The cult called us and asked for help to remove her as the activity had became too much. She was showing herself to new members and knocking sacred pieces off of the altar. She wanted to be heard. We took along this doll to entice her spirit.

“She took to the vessel and with the help of a dark witch we bound her soul to the doll and used the dress to help us. She does present herself to you mainly around the witching hour or on Halloween which is the night she took her life as it is the night the dead can rise.

“She speaks well through EVP and ouija board. She’s been seen in reflective surfaces and also has communicated through knocks.” It is being sold for £40 Haunted doll Lilly: “Beautiful. Alopecia. Plays with hair”

The eBay listing says: “This vessel belongs to Lilly. Lilly has been a part of our family for about two years and she has now told us that she would like to move on to a new family.

“Lilly was a fun-loving girl when she was alive but she sadly suffered with alopecia. Her friends began to notice that she was losing her hair and would tease her. She felt very

lonely. This was her favourite doll as a child and she took all the hair out. When asked why she had done that she said she wanted something to look like her.

“Lilly grew into a beautiful lady and became a hairdresser. She kept her beloved doll in the box as a reminder. Sadly Lilly passed away when she was 65 and her spirit lived on in her favourite doll.

“Lilly is a gentle spirit who likes to play with your hair. You can feel her fingers run through it. She loves animals and can often see the cat being stroked by her. Her vessel is often warm to touch even in cold weather.

“Lilly would be great for a first time collector. She loves to be around animals. She is a kind spirit. She isn’t scary in the slightest and will only show her activity if you tell her you are comfortable with this.” It’s being sold for £21 Haunted doll horse: George The eBay listing says: “George has been with me for a while now and I keep him in the open as I have noticed when I put him in dark spaces a lot of paranormal activities come along. Examples of this is on the Friday the week after I had obtained the vessel, I started to hear light footsteps coming up and down my stairs.

“Furthermore I heard noises of a boy laughing going up and down my hallway. This happened at around the same time around 1-2pm in the morning. I managed to do some ouija board tests and some words and I managed to see that he wants love and affection and is a friendly and kind spirit.” It’s being listed for £13 Haunted doll bear: Oliver The eBay listing says: “I have been collecting paranormal objects for many years now I have had a lot of years behind me in the paranormal and recently I have received a brown vessel with a shy and playful spirit inside. I have been noticing that the vessel called Oliver likes to move this tiny bear around the house. He is very playful and cheeky.

“The story behind this vessel is that a young boy called Oliver who lived in West Sussex and came from a loving family was gifted this bear for his 10th birthday. At first he started to say to his mom that the bear was talking to him and telling him to go to certain parts of the house.

“Olivier unfortunately passed away at the age of the 10. His parents say his distressed spirit still resides within Oliver. The parents gave away Oliver as they say it’s too sad because his spirit is so distressed.

“I am looking for a home that will love Oliver.” It’s being sold for £11 Haunted necklace, curse hunchback witch: Enid

The eBay listing says: “This necklace belongs to Enid. When Enid was alive she was an outcast in her community. She wore old raggy clothes and loads of jewellery. She walked with a hunch and rumours circulated that she was a witch.

“No one spoke to her as she would glare at them in a sinister way. She made no effort to fit in and had no interest in making friends.

“It is said that a brave group of teenagers went round to ask for their ball back and she cursed them with illness and failure.

“Enid passed away in her house when she was around 87. She had this necklace on. Her body had decomposed as she wasn’t found for of the more than a week. She is a very grumpy spirit and will still try to curse the living.

“We suggest that Enid is kept in a place where she is alone as she doesn’t mix well with other spirts. Maybe hung on a wall somewhere. We will send a sage stick with her to the new owner.

“She would be better with a more experienced collector or someone that has a lot of patience.” It’s being sold for £20 “Haunted malevolent antique bottle child girl”

The eBay listing says: “The spirit of a girl from the 18th century resides in this vessel.

“The spirit states her name is Catherine. She is angry as she was hung for a crime she couldn’t possibly have committed. She was accused of forgery yet she claims she could not read or write.

“Catherine becomes angry and at times has caused items to move. This usually happens when in the vicinity of parchment (paper) and writing paraphernalia such as ink or pens.

“This antique bottle which once contained ink was the perfect lure for this spirit.”

It’s being sold for £25 spirit
