1BLADE

II (2002)

THE Bros star made his profession­al acting debut playing Danny Zuko in the musical

Grease on the London stage before going on to carve out a film career for himself. He appeared with Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristoffer­son and Ron Perlman in this vampire sequel playing a character called Jared Nomack – carrier of a Reaper virus that’s deadly to the undead.

2CHARLIE (2004)

HE STARRED in the title role of this British film, playing real life 1960s gangster Charlie Richardson. Luke said: “I did a Navy Seal training programme and Kung Fu which got me in shape. I was down to 5% body fat. There’s scene in Charlie where I get out of bed and have my underpants on. It’s not that glamorous... They’re the unsexiest Y-fronts you’ve ever seen.”

MAN (2005)

THE comedy crime drama centres around a case of mistaken identities. It sees Luke appearing alongside Samuel L Jackson and Eugene Levy.

Levy plays a dentist who gets unwittingl­y caught up in the middle of a deadly murder spree with hired killers all around him. Luke’s character, Joey Kane, is convinced the dentist is “the Man” and a top assassin.

NIGHT WITH THE KING (2006)

LUKE played Persian king

Xerses in this Biblical epic about a young Jewish girl trying to escape the attentions of the ruler in search of a bride among his subjects. “Of all commoditie­s love is the most cheaply purchased,” says Xerses. The movie also reunited Lawrence Of Arabia stars Peter O’Toole and Omar Sharif. It was their fourth and final film together.

MOVE (2017)

LUKE wrote, directed and appeared in this crime drama about businessma­n David Miller who is prepared to go to extreme lengths to find his kidnapped wife and daughter who are snatched during a trip to Mexico. He takes the law into his own hands to exact his revenge. The movie’s publicity asked: “How far would you go to protect your family?”
