Wales On Sunday

BY GLEN WILLIAMS How they rated

-

Made a couple of good saves once again, the best of which denied Lucas Joao’s drilled effort just before the break. Could do nothing about either goal.

CURTIS NELSON

Allowed Michael Morrison the space to head home the first and Lucas Joao turned him for the second. Not his best display.

GREG CUNNINGHAM

Good to see him back but had one or two hairy moments. One blip saw him gift a chance to Joao before he and Nelson’s misunderstanding played a part in their first goal.

MARLON PACK (STAR MAN)

Loudest voice on the pitch, again, and sprayed a number of lovely passes about.

Was a typically calming presence and solid with the ball.

WILL VAULKS

Gritty and nuggety in the middle of the pitch. Stuck his foot in to stop the counter-attacks. Perhaps needed to add more going forward, though.

SHEYI OJO

Showed rare glimpses of what he can offer, skipping beyond his opposite number, but not nearly enough meaningful contributions. Lost the ball for the second goal.

JUNIOR HOILETT

A quiet afternoon for the Canadian. Tidy enough while in possession of the ball but very few goal-making opportunities.

KIEFFER MOORE

Was quite often the target man but was sometimes isolated. Had very few clear-cut chances and fed on scraps for the most part.
