BRIDGE TO A TV TREAT
FANS of the sumptuous period drama Bridgerton, set in and around 19th century London, will love these new tours.
The magnificent Regency city of Bath worked a treat masquerading as the capital in Victorian times. And now you can go behind the scenes on a walking tour from Bath Adventures.
You’ll visit the Featherington family house (No 1 Royal Crescent) and the Modiste Dress Shop, (actually Abbey Deli on Abbey Green which also doubled up as the market). Lady Danbury’s mansion is the impressive Holburne Museum and you’ll visit Bath Assembly Rooms.
Walking Tour from Bath Adventures cost £15 per person (riveradventures.co.uk).
The Bridgerton package also offers a night at The Francis Hotel in Bath with a tour including No 1 The Crescent. You’ll top it off with an indulgent Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea served in Emily’s Tea Room. There are gifts too, including the Bridgerton book.
The following morning you’ll be served breakfast in bed. It doesn’t get more decadent than that.
From £227 per night, B&B two sharing. Visit francishotel.com, visitbath.co.uk
