Will this episode be a recipe for disaster?

-

THE final episode of the popular S4C series Bwrdd i Dri (Table for three) goes to Cardiff this week.

But what happens when you invite an actor, musician and influencer from the capital to cook a three-course dinner? It sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Who will struggle in the steam and get stressed tackling each other’s recipes this Tuesday at 9pm?

The first to choose a course is actress and writer Mali Ann Rees.

She played a cafe owner in her role in S4C drama Fflam, but how do Mali’s own cooking skills compare?

Mali said: “I had a dinner party once and I made this bread that looked very pretty and fancy, with cheese coming out when you pulled it apart. But when it came to trying it, everyone cracked their teeth on it because it was so hard.”

Fitness instructor and influencer Connagh Howard is a familiar face following his time on Love Island. But does Connagh love to cook?

Connagh said: “I wouldn’t say I’m the best at cooking, but I’m not horrendous either. When I first cooked for my girlfriend, I made a chicken stir-fry. She said, ‘Connagh, that’s pink in the middle.’ A couple of pieces of chicken weren’t cooked well enough, but that won’t happen today!”

With musician Mei Gwynedd also confessing, “I wouldn’t say I’m a good cook,” it doesn’t bode well for the quality of the feast.

As always, the guests don’t know who will join them until they take their seats at the table.

But if the food doesn’t hit the spot, at least there will be plenty of fiery conversations between tales of touring in a rock and roll band, inside info from Love Island and music lessons.
