FALKLANDS WAR: THE UNTOLD STORY Tonight, Channel 4, 9pm

On the 40th anniversar­y of the Falklands War, this landmark documentar­y, part of Channel 4’s Secret History strand, reveals the untold story of the conflict that saw Britain send nearly 30,000 young soldiers, sailors and aircrew 8,000 miles to the South Atlantic to reclaim the Falklands Islands after invasion by Argentina.

The head of the SAS in the Falklands, Sir Michael Rose, speaks publicly for the first time about how the British task force came close to defeat, while ground troops candidly share their experience­s.

GREAT BRITISH MENU: THE FINALS Tomorrow, BBC2, 9pm

The winners from the regional heats battle it out to get one of their dishes to a banquet celebratin­g 100 years of British broadcasti­ng.

Finals week begins as the chefs prepare their starters for regulars Tom Kerridge, Nisha Katona and Ed Gamble and special guest judge Inside No 9’s Steve Pemberton.

Floella Benjamin, Alison Steadman and Huw Edwards will get to have their say on the fish courses, mains and desserts respective­ly throughout the week, before the banquet on Friday.

THE GREAT CELEBRITY BAKE OFF FOR STAND UP TO CANCER Tuesday Channel 4, 8pm

For the second of the celebrity editions, Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas welcome comedian Ruby Wax, TV personalit­y and singing coach Gareth Malone, TV presenter Laura Whitmore and social media star Yung Filly into the tent.

They’ll be trying to impress judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood with their signature fruit turnovers and a chocolate fondant technical.

In the showstoppe­r, they set out to recreate one of their most embarrassi­ng moments in meringue.

Wednesday, BBC2, 8pm

The GMB presenter and paediatric­ian Dr Guddi Singh meet Miriam, a young woman who has an extreme case of endometrio­sis – a common condition affecting women of reproducti­ve age in which cysts form on the ovaries or womb.

Using augmented reality technology, Miriam is shown the extent of her condition, and gains a better understand­ing of the pain and fertility issues she faces and prepares for lengthy surgery.

Also featured in tonight’s programme is John, who has a virtual consultati­on about the kidney stones that are causing him pain.

DRAGONS’ DEN Thursday, BBC1, 8pm

Two sisters from the North-east of

England present their maternityw­ear business to potential investors Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman, Sara Davies and Steven Bartlett, and will a new type of fizzy cocktail prove to be the Dragons’ taste?

Also tonight, an entreprene­ur pitches an idea to help businesses become more accessible for anyone with a disability, and a builder believes that he’s come up with a game-changer for the constructi­on trade.

Clive Myrie has been busy recently. He’s returned from reporting on the conflict in Ukraine and before that, took over from John Humphrys as host of Mastermind.

Now he’s the first host of the long-running topical panel show’s 63rd series. Regular team captains Ian Hislop and Paul Merton will also be present, of course, answering questions alongside writer and comedian Andy Hamilton and journalist Helen Lewis.
