How they rated

-

ANDY FISHER

Unfortunate to concede the first as Cyrus Christie perhaps got in his way. But the goalkeeper made some brilliant saves to deny the likes of Sam Surridge, Joe Worrall and Ryan Yates. Could have been far worse without him.

JOEL LATIBEAUDIERE

Very good in possession for long spells but was tormented by the pace of Forest. Not always helped by those collectively in front of him, mind.

CAMERON CONGREVE

Thrown in at the deep end on his first start for the club, Congreve had a few efforts on goal and was generally good on the ball. Withdrawn.

KYLE NAUGHTON

Made a number of clearances and did his bit yet again to help Swansea play out from the back. Couldn’t help stem the tide in the second half.

RYAN MANNING

A few nervy moments and wasn’t at his best in possession. Brennan Johnson and Djed Spence caused heaps of problems on his side. An area Swansea need to address in the summer. Withdrawn.

FLYNN DOWNES

The midfielder did his defensive duties well and was very good on the ball in the first half, regularly finding pockets of space to help the visitors keep the ball. Looked shell-shocked in the second half as Swansea’s defence were unable to cope with Forest’s pace.

MATT GRIMES

Sublime pass for Michael Obafemi’s equaliser and drew a number of fouls in the middle of the park. As above in terms of the second half.

CYRUS CHRISTIE

Escaped a red card, but was credited with an own goal to put Forest ahead and was too sloppy on the ball. Made some timely defensive interventions though as the hosts bombarded the Swansea box.

JOEL PIROE

Always showed for the ball and was willing to drop deep when needed. But the Dutchman was given precious little opportunity to impress in attack. Subbed.

HANNES WOLF

Had to track back to help Manning throughout given the pace Forest possess in their ranks. One of his quieter displays in attack. Fired wide late on.
