Halfway into his eighth decade, the man whose name has become synonymous with sublime footwear shows no signs of slowing down. His retrospective, ‘Manolo Blahnik, The Art of Shoes’ debuted at Milan’s Palazzo Morando this January, and his documentary film, Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards, comes out this autumn, but Blahnik still found time to contribute to our artist recipe series on page 242 – a bread and butter pudding that, like his amazing creations, has stood the test of time.
