HOLY ORDER Wine coolers, by Pietro Russo
Pietro Russo’s monochrome offerings reference Italian churches and their striped stone façades. The Milan-based designer wanted to devise a method to chill wine without the use of ice, and discovered that marble was the perfect material to do so. The bottle-shaped vessels are handmade in Arabescato and Marquina marbles by local craftsmen, and come with a brushed brass interior. They form part of Editions Milano’s debut collection, which features furniture and objects by an impressive roster of international designers, including Patricia Urquiola and Bethan Gray. ‘D’ and ‘C’ wine coolers, from €671, editionsmilano.com
