Poliform brings harmony and flexibility to the kitchen
Since Italian furniture company Poliform’s inception in the 1970s – when the current CEOS, Aldo and Alberto Spinelli and Giovanni Anzani, began to build on the artisanal cabinet-making business they had inherited from their parents – it has steadily expanded and developed its portfolio, cementing its reputation.
Driven by integrity, specific technical expertise and a passion for domestic design, in 1996 Poliform acquired Varenna, adding a kitchen-specialist branch to its bythen self-styled ‘ultimate homes super brand’. Varenna stood for extraordinary, functional kitchens conceived to exist in perfect harmony with the Poliform aesthetic.
Now, more than two decades later, as part of a bold and ongoing brand development plan to ensure that Poliform continues to shine on an international design stage, the Brianza-based company has unified all its product lines under the Poliform name. ‘We decided to converge into a single brand capable of best expressing the values and characteristics of a forward-thinking company,’ explain the founders.
Poliform premiered its new kitchen variations at the 22nd iteration of Eurocucina at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan. Among its offerings was the forwardlooking ‘Shape’ concept – a kitchen model presented as an extension of the Poliform furniture brand – featuring a luxury galley design, extensive colour options and a wide range of innovative compositions.
Infinitely mouldable, diverse and versatile bespoke spaces, Poliform kitchens are configured to meet all the user’s needs while working in sync with the rest of the home and allowing the client to drive the design. With a palette of exceptional materials, exclusive finishes and sophisticated details employed throughout the range, a consistent, inimitable Poliform style prevails. Just as you might upholster your Poliform furniture in the very best fabric, your kitchen will be finessed to the same level of quality and care. poliform.it
