Sebastian Boblist “It was a sunny but cold autumn day in the German-austrian borderlands when I shot the photo of the Wettersteinspitze. Frozen sweat formed little threads on my knit cap. My route took me over Kranzberg and along Lake Ferchensee and Lake Lautersee, near the beautiful town of Mittenwald in Bavaria.

On the way back, the trail opened for this panoramic view on to the Wetterstein summit, where I took this photo. Thanks to the time of day and time of the year, the trail was very lonely and I could take some pictures of the path and the Wettersteinspitze.”
