Singing for Health Group The Singing For Health group is held in the Ability Centre. The group is run by Cyrenians, Ageing Well and Optima and is for over-50s. Carmondean Connected The kiosk at Carmondean Connected is working again and customers can pay their rent and council tax payments there. The kiosk is available from 10.00-4.30pm Monday and Friday, 10am-6.30pm Tuesday and Thursday, 11am-4.30pm Wednesday and 9.30am-12.30pm on Saturdays. Council enquiries can also be made at Carmondean Connected IT buddies Volunteer IT buddies can help you get online, access the internet or use devices such as smartphones and tablets. Jargon-free, friendly support is available at Carmondean Connected on Fridays from 1pm–4pm. Mini Kickers/Soccer Centre Mini Kickers – fun football introductory sessions for boys and girls aged 3 to 5 years held on Saturdays from 10.30am till 11.30am. Soccer Centre – aimed at 5-8-year-old boys and girls, giving them the chance to practice skills and play small-side games in a positive environment. Saturdays from 11.30am to 12.30pm. Cost is £3.50 per week, participants just turn up and pay and play on the day. Held at Deans Community HS. Ability Centre Chess Club In addition to the club members meeting every Tuesday 1-3pm, they now offer chess training from 9am-4pm five days a week on the latest computer software. Livingston Ecumenical Parish Church
worships on Sunday mornings at the Nether Dechmont Community Complex, Fells Rigg, Carmondean. Simply Play
at Deans provides after-school childcare in Deans, Livingston. They are based in Deans High School and collect children from Carmondean, Meldrum, St John Ogilvie and Deans Primary Schools. For vacancies and further information call the club manager Shirley on 01506 282158.
Hall hire
The Masonic Hall, 3 Nellburn Road, is available to hire most Saturdays. The hall can hold 84 with a dance floor and a separate room for a buffet. If you wish we can supply caterers for your buffet and a disco or a live band. For more information and availability call 01506 416037.
Deans Community High
The creche is available for pre-school children of all ages. The pool now operates on a session basis. See our website for availability, prices and session times. Copies of our current timetables for swimming, fitness room and sauna can be found on the the webpage. There are also fun sessions available with inflatables.
