Community centre continued Livingston Village Parents and Toddlers Group meet on Monday and Wednesday from 9.00-11.00am. All pre-school age children welcome, accompanied by an adult. Ability Centre Chess Club In addition to the club members meeting every Tuesday, 1:00-3:00pm, they offer chess training from 9:00am-4:00pm 5 days a week on the latest computer software. Livingston Cricket Club runs indoor practices for 6-9 year olds 5 to 6pm on a Wednesday and practices for 10-14 year olds 6-7pm on a Wednesday. Practices are held at Deans High School Livingston. Practices cost £3 per practice. We meet on Wednesdays from 6.30 to 7.30 pm in Toronto Primary School and offer a wide range of fun games, crafts, outings, friendship, badges, awards and a chance to learn and try new things. Eliburn Parent and Toddler Group meets every Wednesday (term time) 1.30 – 2.30pm at the Free Church of Scotland, Jackson Place, Eliburn. All babies, pre-school children and parents/carers welcome. Music Group can you play an instrument? Would you be interested in helping us to lead music in worship at St. Andrews Church Hall at 6.45pm every 2nd Monday evening?10.00am ,12.00pm,5.30pm,7.00pm. Saturday 8.30am,10.00am. SMART stands for Self Management and Recovery Training and aims to help individuals gain control over their addictive behaviours through peer led mutual aid meetings. If you are trying to abstain from an addictive behaviour come along and join us at St. Johns Hospital (psychology dept.) on a Thursday evening from 6.15 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. You will be met with a warm welcome, tea or coffee and the opportunity to discuss and learn from issues for a healthy recovery.
