Delays warning as road works begin

West Lothian Council is advising drivers of a number of road works during the coming months which are likely to have an impact on travel.

At Binn Mill, from Monday, July 18, until Friday, August 5, the A904 from the junction with the A904 will be closed when necessary (as the work is weather dependant), to the junction at the B8020 west of Newton to allow carriageway resurfacing to take place. A diversion route will be in operation.

At Westfield from Monday, July 25, until Friday, August 12, the A801 will be closed when necessary (as the work is weather dependant) from Westfield roundabout to the A706 to allow carriageway resurfacing to take place. A diversion route will be in operation.

In Torphichen from Monday, July 25, until Friday, August 19, the A706 at Torphichen from the junction with the A801 will be closed when necessary as the work is weather dependant, to the roundabout at Mill Road, Linlithgow, to allow carriageway resurfacing to take place. A diversion route will be in operation.

In Livingston, from Monday, August 8, until Sunday, August 28, the Moss Interchange, eastbound slip road onto Houstoun Road from its junction with Knightsridge East Road to its junction with Houstoun Road will be closed due to the kerbline re-design and resurfacing of the existing slip road. A diversion route will be in operation.

Also in Livingston, from Monday, September 5, until Sunday, October 23, the road will be closed from Carmondean Centre Road from its junction with Nether Dechmont roundabout to its junction with Larbert Avenue to facilitate the kerbline re- design and resurfacing of Nether Dechmont roundabout. A diversion route will be in operation.
