WLSAFL fixtures released

The teams and fixtures have been announced for the 2016-17 West Lothian Sunday Amateur Football League season.

There will be two divisions with 11 sides in the Premier and 13 clubs in League One.

The clubs in the Premier Division will be: Blackburn AllStars, Blackburn, Bo’ness, Carron Valley, Club Livi, Craigshill, Direct Savings, Dykehead, FC Braes 04, Harvester, and Newtown.

League One will be comprised of: Armadale, Bathville Thistle, Burnside, Cross 108, East Calder, Highland Park, Krossbar, Livingston CFC, Livingston Star, Meadowpark, Tamfourhill, West Lothian Albion, and Whitburn Bluebell.

The league fixtures begin on August 14 in the top division, with defending champions Harvester beginning their title defence away at WLSAFL new boys Carron Valley while Blackburn AllStars have a bye week.

League One gets underway on September 4, with Whitburn Bluebell having an opening week bye.

Opening week fixtures: Premier - Blackburn v Craigshill, Bo’ness v FC Braes 04, Carron Valley v Harvester, Dykehead v Direct Savings, Newtown v Club Livi.
