Donnelly latest to switch to Broxburn

Broxburn Athletic have signed a fourth player from local rivals Fauldhouse United with Ross Donnelly being the latest to make the switch from Parkview to Albyn Park this summer.

The midfielder was a key figure in the United side that escaped the drop from the Superleague on the final day of the season and becomes Max Christie’s eighth signing this summer.

Joining Donnelly in making the switch from Fauldhouse to Broxburn are Alan Lawson, Jamie Robertson and Michael Browne.

Meanwhile, new Fauldhouse United boss Stephen Findlay has announced a series of friendlies.

They start their pre-season away to Largs Thistle on July 16 before home matches against Cumbernauld United (July 23), Shettleston (July 26) and Arthurlie (July 30).

And the former Airdrieonians youth coach will be hosting open trials as he looks to build his squad.

Elsewhere, Whitburn have signed former East Stirlingshire goalkeeper Michael Fairbanks while Greg Skinner has put pen to paper on a new deal for the Central Park club.

And Armadale Thistle have announced pre-season friendlies at home to Armadale Rose Amateurs (July 20) and Armadale Thistle Amateurs (August 2). They will play away from home against Kilsyth Rangers (July 16), Wishaw (July 27), and Whitburn (July 30).
