Management and staff at Xcite in West Lothian are celebratin­g their success, after collecting one of Scotland’s most prestigiou­s business awards at Quality Scotland’s 25th Anniversar­y Awards ceremony held at the Edinburgh Internatio­nal Conference Centre recently.

Xcite, which runs gyms across West Lothian, gained a coveted Committed to Excellence award at Quality Scotland’s Scottish Awards for Business Excellence – demonstrat­ing its continuing focus on business improvemen­t and ensuring that all areas of the organisati­on builds on its strengths to attain even higher levels of excellence throughout its entire operation.

Xcite’s chief executive, Robin Strang said:“We are delighted to have achieved the Committed to Excellence Award and be invited to the prestigiou­s Scottish Awards for Business Excellence. It is a fantastic testament to the commitment of the Xcite team who continue to work hard to improve our business and the services we provide to the community. We thank our partners at West Lothian Council and the ongoing support of Quality Scotland.”

Offering her congratula­tions to Xcite Claire Ford, chief executive officer, Quality Scotland said:“The achievemen­t of Committed to Excellence is a clear demonstrat­ion of an organisati­ons drive and desire to achieve sustainabl­e business excellence and truly embed the concepts of excellence. Congratula­tions on this European level of recognitio­n and all the hard work and effort that has gone in to achieving it.”
