June Close juneclose@ymail.com Fauldhouse Community Developmen­t Timebank Project is a new way of working together, swapping skills and having fun. The project encourages people to help use their skills to help others and those involved get help also. If you can offer help to someone else or if you wish to find out more about the project telephone 01501 773 699. Whitburn Scout Group meetings take place in Brucefield Church Halls. Thursday meetings of the groups Beaver Scout sections resumes on the 25 Aug. Spaces are available in both sections which meets 5.50-6.30 pm and the 2nd section from 6.45-7.45 pm. Beaver scouts are for children between 6-8 years and offers the chance to experience fun, games, crafts, outings, friendship and a chance to learn and try new things. Club Scout meetings also begin on the 25 August. Spaces are available for boys and girls aged 8-10 years. Clubs offer a wide range of badges and awards to be gained, camping and many fun activities and games. All welcome. Fauldhouse United F.C. lotto tickets for £2000 can be purchased outside Scotmid every Tuesday and Thursday from 10-1 pm. Toddlers Club meets in the Salvation Army Hall every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am. Cost £1 and new members welcome. CDT annual fair day will be held on Saturday September 3 from 11-2pm. Crafts, baking, raffle, stalls, refreshmen­ts and food. Free activities including mini zoo, storytelli­ng, photo mementos, bouncy castle, giant slide and face painting. Sambalisti­c playing from 11.00-1pm. Those wishing to join the Sambalisti­c workshop are required to sign up at 11.30am. All activities at the Village Green (across from Scotmid), The Hub, The Salvation Army Hall and St Andrew’s Church Hall. Everyone is invited to come along and support this community event.

Trivia Quiz i n aid of Fauldhouse United F.C. on Fri 9 Sept in the Howff, Park View. £3 per person with a maximum of 5 players in a team. Doors open at 6.30 for an 8 pm start. All welcome.

Music Club with free lessons for children meets at 6pm every Monday in the Salvation Hall. New members welcome.

Septemberf­est Concert in aid of Fauldhouse Childrens Galaday will be held in St John’s Parish Hall on Fri 2 Sept commencing 7.30 pm. Guest artists include Barry Thomas, Darren Harper, Sharon McCafferty, Jade Skene and Nicole Rose. Tickets priced £6 are on sale now.
