There is plenty going on this year with fun games such as “Beat the Bowler”, “Splat the Rat”, “Hook a Duck”, “The Stocks”, “Beat the Goalie” and “Nearest the Pin, Golf game”. Tickets for these games are 5 plays for £2 or 15 plays for £5. The ever popular Dog show hosted by Murieston Environmen­tal Group is another feature as will be demonstrat­ions of Hockey and Basketball. There will also be plenty of stalls in place including children’s crafting courtesy of the Tea Pot Trust, teas and cakes, Tombola, BBQ, slushes, icecream, Rotary Club, sweets stall, homemade produce and toiletries. Bouncy castles and a bouncy slide will also be available at a small extra cost. From 5pm we will move indoors for Pub games and from 7pm we will have live music on offer. The Kingfisher bar will be open across the day. Support from members for this important fund raiser for the club is sought to provide help on the day manning the various events and in providing prizes for the Tombola. Murieston Community Council meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7pm in Williamsto­n Primary School. All interested parties welcome.
