Six stylish shoppers were selected to share their fabulous new purchases in return for a Gift Card worth £25, courtesy of The Centre, which can be used in over 70 stores and all restaurants.

And all six pictures will appear on the Shop The Centre Facebook page today ( Thursday) and the picture which receives the most likes over a period of 48 hours will receive another £100 Gift Card from The Centre.

The first person to catch the Style Squad’s eye was Sheila Walker ( 56) from Livingston. Sheila is a supervisor in the catering department of St John’s Hospital and came to The Centre looking for a fancy dress outfit for a 60th birthday party.

Sheila said: “I knew that I wanted something fun for the party and I found just what I was looking for in River Island and the great thing is that I can dress it up with a pink wig and accessories for the party but it’s versatile enough to wear again.”

The next stylish shopper was Becky Thom ( 23) from Lanark, who is a wedding and events executive at the New Lanark Mill Hotel.

She came to The Centre to enjoy a leisurely afternoon shopping with her boyfriend and said: “We’ve been for a late lunch and managed to pick up a couple of great buys at the shops and got this brilliant hoodie from Superdry.”

The Street Style Squad couldn’t resist checking out the purchases of Liam McEwan (13) from Livingston, who was shopping with his mum Lynsey. Liam, a second year student at Broxburn Academy, had just been to the dentist for a tooth extraction and his mum thought a little retail therapy might help his recovery.
