Winter golf membership is available at Greenburn Golf Club from now to the end of January 2017 for the sum of £80. Anyone taking up this offer and deciding to join for season 2017 will have this sum deducted from the full membership fee. Fauldhouse United Sportsman Dinner in the Masonic Hall on Sat 22 October. Race Night in Greenburn Golf Club in aid of the Club’s Junior Section on Friday 21 October starting at 8pm. All welcome. Halloween Party for children in Fauldhouse Cricket Club free of charge on Sunday 30 Oct from 4.30-7 pm. Prizes, disco singing and much much more. All welcome.

Congratula­tions to local teenager Lauren Reid in being selected to play in the Stephen Gallacher Foundation’s Team in East Lothian’s Winter Golf League. SMK Dance Works Intermedia­te Commercial Dance classes in The Cricket Club every Wednesday from 6.45-7.45 pm. Cost £3.50. Macmillan Coffee Morning Congratula­tions and well done to local lady Carol McLaren in raising £427.57 from her Croftfoot Drive coffee morning on the warmest recorded October temperatur­es on record. Well done also to Ellen Lynch on winning the cracking zoo cake raffle prize. All money raised will be donated to the McMillan.
