Scarily good fun at party

Youngsters have the chance to enjoy an afternoon of scarily good fun next weekend in Livingston.

Bring the whole family and enjoy some spooktacul­ar fun at Howden Park Centre’s Halloween disco.

Youngsters should dress as something scary and take part in the centre’s fancy dress parade.

Each child will be given a juice, snack and gruesome treat.

The party takes place on Saturday, October 29, from 2pm to 4pm.

Tickets priced children for £6 and £5 for adults, including tea or coffee and cake, are available by calling Howden Park Centre on 01506 777666.

Meanwhile, the West Lothian Secondary Schools Dance Championsh­ips are set to take place next month.

The championsh­ips are a fun and competitiv­e and feature pupils from all 11 secondary schools in West Lothian.

Pupils must form groups and choreograp­h their own pieces, to be judged by four of the best dance profession­als in West Lothian.

The standard of dance in this competitio­n is always extremely high and it is a fantastic opportunit­y to see the creativity of pupils in West Lothian.

The competitio­n take place on Wednesday, November 9, at 6.30pm at Howden Park Centre.

Tickets are £5 or £3 for concession­s.
