Once a month on a Friday night the club is packed to the gunnels when at 8 o’clock the first question is asked by the resident (albeit sometimes guest) quizmaster. If you haven’t been before, this is an opportunity to come along and try to win the quiz. (Cash prizes no less!). There are a few regular teams who try to outwit each other to try to claim the title, but there is always room for some more teams (though if you try and bring a bus load along as a team you will be asked to split up into smaller factions!). The questions can be on anything, in any format (oral, paper, dvd, mixture etc) but generally you don’t need to be Albert Einstein to be able to answer them. Though with the bar being open then the beer does help to free the lucid thought processes! Williamston Primary School’s Christmas fayre takes place from 2pm - 4.30pm on Sunday 27 November. Admission is £1 for adults and children go free. Santa will be paying a special visit. There will also be a cafe, face painting, home baking, arts & crafts, make up & skin care, tombola, jewellery, temporary tattoos and more. Hypnotherapy for Relaxation will be held in Bellsquarry Village Hall on Monday 5th December from 1pm – 2pm. Come along and join us fro an hour of peace, calm and tranquillity. £5 per session, all welcome. Please bring along a blanket/ cushion and if available a yoga mat to help increase

Livingston Cricket Club Winter Training Times: New & Young Players, 6 and above: Wednesdays 6-7pm Experienced Players up to 14: Wednesdays 7-8pm (Deans Community High School. 5th Oct-26th Apr). Seniors: Sundays 7-9pm (Bathgate Acad Sports Hall from Sun 22 Jan to Sun 16 Apr 7pm to 9pm).
Murieston United have a fun soccer school for kids born in 2010. Training is every Tuesday from 5 – 6pm. Coaches qualifications include - Coerver diploma, Coaching badge level 1.1 & 1.2, SYFA first aider, PVG. Limited spaces available. Please email mucfcsoccerschool@gmail.com for more information.
10th Livingston Guides meet at Murieston Village Hall every Tuesday during term time at 7pm. Places are available for girls age 10 and over. Anyone interested please contact vicky@thewalkerfamily.me.uk.
Beginners Jogging Group meets every Thursday at 6.30pm in the Murieston Cricket Club car park. A 4 week block costs £20 or 8 week block £40 and is led by experienced Jog Scotland Jog Leader Marion. A basic level of fitness is all you need. Open to adults (kids from age 12 are welcome with parents’ permission. Marion holds a disclosure Scotland Bellsquarry Community Council Meetings are held in Bellsquarry Village hall on the first Monday of every second month starting at 7.30pm. (Feb, April, June,.
