fauldhouse st. andrew’s church are holding a christmas fayre - saturday 26th november - 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. Community Council meet in the Partnershi­p Centre on Wed Dec at 7pm. A few places are available and any interested in joining is welcome to come along and find out what’s involved. A good turnout was recorded at the Inter-Denominati­onal Remembranc­e Service and the organisers would like to thank all who participat­ed and attended. Special thanks to the Masonic Lodge for providing soup, snacks and refreshmen­ts free of charge immediatel­y following the event. Cheques were presented by Gordon Thomson from proceeds raised at a recent Burns night to Lieutenant Cole (Salvation Army), Rev Macrae (St Andrews Church and Canon White (St John the Baptist Church). Christmas Fayre in St Andrews Church on Saturday from 10-2pm. Stalls include gifts, home baking and jewellery to name a few. Tea and coffee on sale and everyone welcome. Together for Health and the Community Developmen­t Trust are looking for volunteers to help with the ‘Santa Parade’ on the 14 Dec. Christmas tree lights ‘switch on’ and parade will start at 6pm and volunteers are needed beforehand to assist with registerin­g participan­ts, stewarding the parade and santa’s sleigh and helping with santa’s grotto. Anyone interested in helping at this very popular community event should contact lesley.dunsmore@fauldhouse.org.uk or Lindsay.Macgregor@westlothia­n.gov.uk Fauldhouse Amateur Boxing Club’s kids class meets at Park View Sports and Recreation Centre every Wed and Fri from 6-7pm. New members welcome. Fauldhouse United FC Lotto tickets for £2000 can be purchased outside Scotmid every Tue and Thurs from 10-1pm. Swimming in the Partnershi­p Centre is free of charge for senior citizens and children under 5 years.
