Charity Shop in Fauldhouse Indoor Market with clothes and toys free of charge to kids in need. This fantastic idea was initiated by local business man Gerry Gallacher. The idea came about after his grandchildren had grown out of their clothes and many of the outfits were in great condition and in some cases almost new. Gerry has now received calls from other local people offering other items of clothing, shoes and toys that their child/children no longer use but are in good condition. The shop will cater mainly for pre school and primary school children and all items are free of charge to struggling families in need. Anyone wishing to donate should contact Gerry direct or leave them in the indoor market for his attention. World Day of Prayer Services will be held in The Bield on Fri 3 March at 2.30pm and in St John the Baptist R.C. Church at 7pm. A very warm welcome is extended to everyone.

Local Entertainer of the Year organised by the Pigeon Club will be held in the Miners Welfare on Sunday 16 April. Doors open at 2pm and tickets are priced £5.

It is hoped that the building will be a fantastic and vibrant asset for community groups as well as community events and activities.
