Bacharach show to be staged in Livingston

The magical music of Burt Bacharach is being celebrated in Livingston this weekend.

The show ‘Back to Bacharach’ will be staged on Saturday (February 25) at Howden Park Centre.

One of the World’s most accomplish­ed popular composers, Bacharach has with his writing partner Hal David penned some of the most memorable and iconic hits of the twentieth century.

This exciting production is touring throughout the UK and is performed by four of the finest West End singers accompanie­d by a live 10-piece band recreating Burt Bacharach’s timeless hits.

The show’s vocalists have performed all over the world, with credits including tours with Les Misérables, Mary Poppins and Starlight Express.

Solo collaborat­ions include work with Paloma Faith, George Michael and David Arnold.

The Magic Moments Orchestra are regular performers for BBC orchestras and have also toured throughout the UK and internatio­nally as well as recording for many famous artists.

Songs featured in the show include ‘Alfie’, ‘Anyone Who Had A Heart’, ‘I Say A Little Prayer For You’, ‘Magic Moments’, ‘Walk On By’, ‘What’s New Pussycat?’, ‘24 Hours from Tulsa’, ‘Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head’ and many more.

They are songs everyone will remember and fall in love with again and it’s a fantastic show for all ages.

‘Back to Bacharach’ have partnered with the charity Breast Cancer Now and will donate £1 from each ticket sold.

The show takes place on Saturday (February 25) at 7.30pm.
