Fauldhouse Amateur Boxing Club are celebratin­g after Tanya Green was crowned their first ever female champion. 15 year old Tanya from Stoneyburn has trained at the club for three years and won the 2001 Juniors 52kgs title in Ravenscrai­g. The Kids Class meets at Park View Sport and Recreation Centre every wed and Fri from 6-7 pm. New members always welcome. Martin Luther + The Reformatio­n 500th Anniversar­y in St Andrew’s Church on a Sunday at 6.30pm. Guest speaker Dr Sandy Roger. A warm welcome is extended to all.

Time Bank Spring Time Fun at the Hub on Main Street. Tomorrow from 2-4 Animals with Zoo-Ed, Magic with Magic Mac and Face painting by Catrina. Friday 24th March Time for Adventures with the Forestry Commission Rangers, Thursday 30th March from 10.30-12.30 pm Time to Bake ( fundraisin­g event) raffle, coffee, bake and donate. Bingo every Wednesday evening in the Miners Welfare in aid of Fauldhouse United F.C. Eyes down 8.30 pm and all welcome. Local Entertaine­r of the Year organised by the Pigeon Club will be held on Sunday 16 April in the Miners Welfare. Doors open at 2 pm and tickets are priced £5. Interested in Line Dancing then a class could be organised by contacting Rebecca on 07796 674 860 Charity Shop for Children in Need has opened in Fauldhouse Indoor Market, 1 Blackfaikd­s Place. The idea was initiated by local business man Gerry Gallagher supported by many residents in the village. Gerry extends his thanks to all who have donated to this cause.
