Annual Sportsman’s Dinner hosted by Mid Calder Gala Committee will be held in the Masonic Hall, Mid Calder on Saturday April 29th at 7pm for 7.30pm. Guest Speakers are Jim Leishman and David Tanner with M.C. Kevin Kaye. Come along and help us to promote fair trade and make new friends. The Fair Trade café is run by the Kirk of Calder. Clothing bank is situated to the front of the Glenalmond Hall. Please bring any good quality clean clothes, belts, paired shoes, ties, handbags (in a bag) and place in the recycling bank. Liv’n Harmony Singers is an adult choir with a difference. Meets on a Thursday evening 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Black Bull, Mid Calder where the emphasis is on fun and laughter as much as singing. Running from 6.10pm to 7.10pm and led by local Music Teacher, Allison Barr this promises to be a choir full of fun and laughter as well as learning skills in singing and vocal production.
