Volunteer Drivers Wanted to help older people get to local groups. If you would like to help an older person access local groups such as Singing for Health, the Cyrenians Befriending Service would love to hear from you. The Befriending Service helps alleviate loneliness and isolation in older people. One of the ways we do this is by assisting people to get out and about in their community. Volunteer drivers are urgently required in the Livingston area. Expenses are reimbursed at 45p per mile. Book your session by contacting Jorden Smith 01506 774066. 13th West Lothian Scout Group Beavers are aged from 6 to 8 years old and meet on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 7.30pm. The Cubs are from 8 to 10 years old and meet on Thursday night from 6.30 till 8.00pm. The Scouts are from 10 to 14 and meet on Thursday nights from 7.00 till 9.00pm. We meet in Deans Community Centre on both nights. We are also looking for a new leader, or, you can just be a parent helper. Livingston station Playgroup offers play sessions, where children can develop and learn at their own pace. We have part/full time places available, as well as funded places too. Girls from primary 1-7 will be made welcome. We are also looking for volunteers to help support our team. We encourage the girls in craft, games, fun. Livingston True Blues Flute Band we are recruiting members for fluters to drummers experienced or unexperienced all welcome.
