‘We’re on the look out for a worthy cause to support’

-

the Centre, Livingston, is looking for a local charity or good cause to support.

after two years as the Centre’s charity partner the team Jak Foundation is set to hand over the reigns to another worthy cause to help them raise much-needed funds and awareness.

Charities, local groups and organisations of all sizes in the West Lothian area are being encouraged to write to the deputy centre director of the Centre, ashley Bisland, by the end of april, stating why they should be chosen as the next Charity of the Year.

If chosen as the lucky charity partner, the group, like team Jak Foundation and other charities who have previously held the title, will have the chance to carry out a whole host of events and activities in the mall, where up to 45,000 shoppers on average visit every day, to help raise funds and also their profile.

ashley Bisland, deputy centre director at the Centre, said:“team Jak Foundation did an amazing job raising funds and awareness of their charity over the last two years, which we were delighted to be able to help and support. It’s been a fantastic relationship and we wish them all the best going forward.

“this is a great opportunity for everyone who has a charity, organisation or local group and who might be in need of a helping hand to raise awareness and funds.

“our new charity partner will be able to organise their own events in the mall and also take advantage of ours, including the forthcoming Ladies night on april 6.”
