A busy week of action for LRC
Lothian Running Club members were in action in races in both Great Britain and the United States over the past week.
On Sunday, they were represented at the London Marathon as well as the Great Edinburgh 5 and 10 Mile events.
Colin Partridge was the first club finisher in London with a time of 2:50.53 with Malcolm Lang also beating the three hour mark.
In Edinburgh, Mike Murray was second in the M65 category over the five mile race.
LRC members were also competing in both Boston Marathons last week, with one in the US city and the other in the Lincolnshire town of the same name.
Christine MacVarish and Gerry McCafferty completed the event across the Atlantic, with Shona Young tackling the course in England, which means she has now ticked both Boston Marathons off her list.
Also in the States, Mhairi Inglis was in action in a 5k race in Boulder, Colorado finishing second female in the Dash and Dine Series in a time of 20:15.
Closer to home, Paul Young was the sole club representative in the Balfron 10k where he finished in 42:09 while the club were represented at new fewer than nine different parkruns across the UK on Saturday morning.
It was a home double for the club at Livingston with Josh Dack and Lana Turnbull being the leading male and female runners respectively.
James Ackland finished ahead of the field in Portobello.
