Lions have been great to watch

-

Nobody can say they’ve not been entertained watching Livi this season.

In all competitions, they’ve played 44 games this term and banged the ball home 92 times, averaging over two goals per game.

We are now on our best run of results this season after sealing our seventh straight win and in the best form since the 2010/11 season. Funnily, that was the last time we played at this level when we won 12 on the spin on our way to the title.

Some may have forgiven the team for easing off the accelerator a little after sealing the title and promotion but this group of players clearly don’t know how to do that.

The management and players have set a standard this season and it’s not going to slip, not matter what.

Saturday was as emphatic as we’ve been this season and some of the play was quite beautiful to watch.

We also finally got the better of a Queen’s Park team that we hadn’t beaten this season.

Next up it’s trophy day as Peterhead make the long journey south at the weekend fighting for their lives at the foot of the table.

It won’t be an easy game but we will want to go out and win in our last home game of the season and lift the trophy in style after a win.

The fans have been terrific so, for one last time, this season let’s get behind the champions.
