Already Labour have made WL better place

-

After five years with a Labour Council West Lothian is a better and fairer place.

Labour has delivered the best ever exam results for West Lothian, invested in our children’s education, achieved Living Wage status and is building new council homes for 1000 local families.

A lot done, but Labour knows there more to do, and given your vote for Labour on May 4 we promise to deliver a Council Tax and rent freeze this year and full consultation with you over future Council Tax and rent levels before they are decided.

Increased investment in our Schools and Nurseries to £150m by 2022 and a GP task force with the NHS so that you can get better access to GP services at times that suit.

Community led bus services for West Lothian Town Service and rural bus routes, giving passengers a direct say in how these are run.

A new Housing Partnership with a goal of building 3000 new homes in West Lothian over the 10 years ending 2022, modernised Early Years services to make them more flexible for parents, providing 50 hours provision from 8am to 6pm and no support for a second Independence Referendum.

The SNP will use this election to push for independence, the Tories to push their policies which always hurt the poorest.

Under Labour, West Lothian has become a better place.
