A real opposition to SNP and indyref2

-

I have already written, that I wish to protect our green spaces and that, I would protect as much green belt as possible.

Mainly because since I moved to Linlithgow many years ago the town has been expanded considerably (far too much in my opinion). This expansion has contributed very little to the quality of life for the residents. Most of the people who moved into the town did so because of the character and amenities of what was a market town steeped in Scotland’s history.

However we now have congestion, major parking problems, most of the social services are now overstretched and we have just had a report condemning the air quality in the town. You should remember that the shops on our high street have been struggling for years, with many premises now operating as charity shops or cafes. UKIP has the policy that its councillors are there to represent their constituents and not party politics or any outside vested interest. I should also tell you that UKIP also has a policy of denying membership to any known racist. We only want to see control of the numbers of people being allowed into this country to manageable numbers. A policy stolen by the Tory party and promised in their manifesto which helped them win the last election, but has never been acted on.

I want to see real opposition to SNP and personally oppose another referendum. I think that priority should be given to local people for housing when it comes available and is suitable.
