Yvonne Green, 01506 440881/ 07738889605 yvonnegreen55@gmail.com Members of Murieston Community Council recently attended a meeting with the Development Trusts Association Scotland to look at the possibility of setting up a Community Development Trust within Murieston and heard about the kind of funding that we could apply for - we could benefit hugely from the money available. In order to progress to the next level, which is a public meeting and presentation from the Development Trusts Association, we need support from the local community - and that’s where YOU can help. What we’re looking for is ‘Likes’ on the Murieston and Bankton Community News Facebook post or notes of support on the Murieston Community Council website http://murieston.communitycouncil.org.uk/muriestondevelop…/ What we are absolutely NOT asking you to do is to commit to anything other than a ‘yes, sounds good’ (although if you want to be involved in the Trust then we would love to hear from you) - if the local community aren’t interested then it can’t proceed, it’s as simple as that. If we do get general support from you all then we’ll advertise details of the public meeting - all welcome! Murieston United have a fun soccer school for boys and girls born in 2011.
