Library gets a clean-up

-

Whitburn Traders Group and volunteers pulled on their rubber gloves recently and continued their work cleaning and revamping the exterior of the town’s library.

The group felt that the well used and well loved building was looking a bit tired so the team committed to power-washing, polishing and scrubbing the outside and entrance to make it look more inviting.

Broken benches and planters are being replaced and a spring flowers display will finish the task delivering a Library building the town can be proud of again.

One volunteer commented:“The Rosebery Centre (a day centre that works closely with people within the community who lives with Dementia) formerly based in Livingston St Pauls Church but now at Polbeth Harwood Church Chapelton Terrace Polbeth.
