Leap into frog art competition
Schools, colleges and community groups are invited by The Centre Livingston to join in an exciting art sculpture competition.
The challenge is to design a threedimensional frog, which will become part of a Frog Trail exhibition being launched in the mall on July 1.
Entrants can apply for a Leap into Summer Frog Trail pack by emailing ashley.bisland@ thecentrelivingston.com, which includes full details of the competition and an outline of the three age categories and an A4 frog template to showcase your design, which must be submitted by May 25.
Designs must include details of the materials that will be used.
A panel of judges will choose nine of the most creative and inspiring designs, three from each age group, based on imagination and originality, on May 29.
The winners will receive their frogs to decorate the following week and a £250 Gift Card from The Centre, Livingston to help with the decorating costs.
Ashley Bisland, Deputy Centre Director at The Centre, said:“I’m really excited to see what kind of frog designs will come in and of course seeing the winning ones being transformed into large frogs positioned around the mall.”
The launch of the Frog Trail exhibition is on the July 1, running until August 31 , where two additional frogs, designed by artists will also be unveiled.
