Performers have been carefully selected to ensure there will be something for everyone. Featuring: West Calder Public Band, Amy Hawthorn, Michael Forde, Ibiyemi Osinaike, Stuart McLean, Parkhead Primary School Choir & more! Entry £5 pay at the door on the night. Light refreshmen­ts will be served in the hall afterwards. Parkhead Galaday June 3rd. Annual Quiz Friday May 19th at 7:30pm in the Bowling Club. £5 per team of four. Did you know this event is open to everyone in the village, and for an annual fee of £9 per family you can join in the fun? The fee is due now and must be paid no later than May 26th. Due to a limited number of collectors extra provision has been put in place to ensure every family wishing to take part can sign up for this great community event. You can register and pay at the Harburn & West Calder Community Developmen­t Trust shop in the square or pop into West Calder Bowling Club any Monday evening from 8pm onwards. Would you like to support the Gala committee who work very hard every year to keep this family fun day going? We would really appreciate new members or helpers, everyone welcome to come along to a Gala planning meeting which take place the first Monday of every month in West Calder Bowling Club at 7:30pm to see what we do and get more informatio­n. Bridge Club Do you play Bridge? Did you know there is a Bridge club meets every Tuesday in the West Kirk Church hall at 7pm. New players are always very welcome, come along sharp and join us this Tuesday! The Friendship Café Meets on the third Thursday each month. The café meets in West Calder Community Centre from 1.30 to 3.30pm. Raffle tickets cost £1 per strip and tea/coffee plus a biscuit or two costs 50p. So please come along and bring your friends. Everyone is welcome. Tuesday Club in Stewart Court is at 2pm every Tuesday with entertainm­ent followed by afternoon tea at a cost of £1.50 The Club is open to anyone in the Community.
