All welcome at dementia cafe

The People’s Café, Uphall, is a meeting place where people who have any form of dementia, and their carers, can come to meet others in a similar situation for support and social contact, a cup of tea or coffee and home baking.

A light lunch of homemade soup and sandwich is also served for a small contribution.

Carers on their own are also welcome, as are people with dementia unable to make their own way there.

Go along for the whole session, or just drop in as and when it suits you.

The café runs on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 11am to 1.30pm at St Andrew’s Care Home, St Andrew’s Court, Hawthorn Place, Uphall. The next meeting is June 26.
