Vital spark for local health centre

20 YEARS AGO..

The hard working fundraisers in the Community Involvement Team at the former Levi’s plant in Whitburn added to their charity efforts in May 1997.

The group, which had already collected thousands of pounds for local charities in previous years, handed over a Vitalograph to Whitburn Health Centre.

Grateful Doctor Christoph Toellner is pictured at the time accepting the new equipment, worth £2,300 on behalf of the practice.
